To preserve the original look of the parts, Aluminum parts are NEVER Sandblasted
Aluminum parts are cleaned using a three step process.
Parts are cleaned with solvent, blasted with special media designed for Aluminum Oxidation removal and then cleaned with a special solution for factory fresh look.
Only the painted parts are blasted with Aluminum Oxide, primed and painted.
All Rebuilt Engines are Test Run for about a hour, oil drained and checked for any metal debris. Engines are shipped WITHOUT OIL
All Major rebuilt parts are sent with digital photos of the restoration on a computer CD for your records
at no additional charge
FUEL TANK RESTORATION
- We will sandblast the outside of the fuel tank and prime it for corrosion protection. Clean the inside and line the tank with coating designed for fuel tanks
- We can also coat painted and finished fuel tanks.
- Powdercoated and relined tanks are available for sale.
